Conrado Medequiso
Conrado is married with 4 children, one of whom is a nurse, and the remaining three are studying at university. He is employed as the principal internal auditor of the Ipswich city council
Conrado is studying for a Master of Theological Studies at the Australian Catholic University and hopes to complete his studies by the end of 2023.
He is part of Our Lady of the Southern Cross Catholic Parish at Springfield and is currently involved in the Ministry of the Altar and the RCIA. He is also actively involved in his parish's fundraising activities.

Hugo Silva
Hugo is married to Margarita for 30 years and they have two children. He works as a Project Officer in the Digital Solutions and Technology Department of Queensland Health. Additionally, Hugo volunteers as a Prison Chaplain with Centacare and currently serves at the Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre, Wacol.
He Organises / coordinates the Marian Priest Movement in the Spanish-speaking community, and is a country coordinator of Mater Fatima International.
Hugo is studying for a Degree in Theology with Domuni Universitas, an international Dominican tertiary institution based in Toulouse, France.
He is part of the Latin American Catholic Community at the Holy Spirit Church, New Farm. Hugo is involved in a wide array of Ministries which include:

Paul Jenson
Paul has been married to Karen for 33 years, and has three adult children, one Son-in-law and two Grand-dogs. He works as the Director of Mission and Formation at Centacare and offers supervision to a number of Archdiocesan Priests. He is also a Psychologist with Headspace one day a week. Paul completed a Bachelor of Theology in 1991.
Paul is part of the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish, Coorparoo and is the facilitator of the Ministers of Word. He participates in reading and supporting readers in his local parish, and conducts communion services.
After resigning from 20 years of ordained ministry in the Uniting Church Paul was received into the Catholic Church in 2011. Holy orders in the Catholic Church were the last thing on his mind. Paul was content being a committed and active layperson within the local parish.
A decade later, in January 2021 he experienced a gentle nudge to explore the diaconate. So here he is, discerning that nudge!

Anthony Vassallo
Anthony has been married to Sharon for 33 years and has one son. He is the Business Manager and a robotics teacher at the Redeemer Lutheran College.
He is currently studying for a Masters in Theology through ACU, and has previously completed a Masters in Management and a Masters in Education.
Anthony is a member of the Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Kenmore and is a Minister of the Word. He is also involved in the Sacramental Program and Children’s Liturgy Ministry.

Laurent Fontaine
Laurent has been married to Laura for 20 years and they have two daughters. He is employed as an I.T. Manager for ABT Associates, the mission of whom is to improve the quality of life and economic well-being of people worldwide. Laurent is enrolled in a Masters of Theological Studies with ACU.
Laurent is a member of the Pastoral Council at the St John Vianney parish in Manly. Laurent’s interest in the Diaconate started in 2018 while living in France after his Parish Priest called upon him to reflect on this Ministry. After enrolling in a year of pre-discernment it confirmed his interest in the diaconate formation. After moving to Australia, Laurent registered to start formation.

Martin Lewis
Martin has been married to Michaela for 33 years and they have two adult children, Annie and Patrick.
After 35 years in Brisbane Catholic Education, 26 of those in school leadership, last year Martin was appointed Diocesan Director of Brisbane and Toowoomba for Catholic Mission. He is enrolled in a Master of Theological Studies with ACU
Martin worships at the Fort in Oxley. This is with the Passionist Order, recently having served on the Coordinating Group for 2 years. He is a Minister of The Word and Eucharist, and have worked with two community members on their journey towards Confirmation. In the absence of a priest, Martin has led the Liturgy of The Word and Communion.

Daniel Ibbott
Daniel has been married to Siobhan for 24 years and has two children. He is the Managing Director of Books & Boxes. Daniel is currently studying for a Degree in Theology at ACU.
