Vocation Visits
Part of Vocation Brisbane's mission is to bring the vocation message and equip the parishes, communities and schools of the Archdiocese to foster a culture of vocations in their communities life.
Our team conducts dozens of parishes across the Archdiocese each year, offering resources and presentations. We currently offer the following themes and topics:
What is Vocation? Introduction level for RE Class, Day Retreat or SOR Class
Firm Foundation - How to make decisions and stick to them
Called by Name - Responding to God’s Call
Quo Vadis? - Latin for Where are you going? Hopes to encourage and empower students to fulfil their potential
Discernment 101 - What is discernment, and how do I know where God is calling me?
Sacraments of Vocation - About Sacraments, specifically focusing on Marriage, Priesthood and the Vows of Religious Life
States of Life - Speaking on Ordained, Religious, Marriage and Single life
Please contact our office to arrange a visit and discuss how our team can promote vocations in your parish.
Vocation Views
Vocation Views are a simple way to keep the question of God's call in the minds of parishioners and a great way to promote the message of vocations to those who might come across it.
Please include your contact details below with each reflection to help someone in your parish make a vocational response. You can use either of these designs. (leaving the contact details and only changing the vocations views reflections for that particular Sunday's bulletin). You may also include this reflection on your social media, website or newsletter. Each reflection is taken from the first or second reading, the Psalm or the Gospel reading.
