Married to Karen for 33 years

Has three adult children, one Son-in-law and two Grand-dogs

Participates in reading and supporting readers in his local parish, and conducts communion services.

After resigning from 20 years of ordained ministry in the Uniting Church Paul was received into the Catholic Church in 2011. Holy orders in the Catholic Church were the last thing on his mind. Paul was content being a committed and active layperson within the local parish.

A decade later, in January 2021 he experienced a gentle nudge to explore the diaconate. So here he is, discerning that nudge!

Laurent’s interest in the Diaconate started in 2018 while living in France after his Parish Priest called upon him to reflect on this Ministry. After enrolling in a year of pre-discernment it confirmed his interest in the diaconate formation

After moving to Australia, Laurent registered to start formation.

Married to Michaela for 33 years and have two adult children Annie and Patrick.

After 35 years in Brisbane Catholic Education, 26 of those in school leadership, last year Martin was appointed Diocesan Director of Brisbane and Toowoomba for Catholic Mission.

Enrolled in a Masters of Theological Studies with ACU

Martin worships at the Fort in Oxley. This is with the Passionist Order, recently having served on the Coordinating Group for 2 years.

Is a Minister of The Word and Eucharist, and have worked with two community members on their journey towards Confirmation. In the absence of a priest, Martin has lead the Liturgy of The Word and Communion.
