Archbishops Dinner for Women

 The Archbishop's Dinner for Women is an evening that provides space for women discerning their vocation to gather and connect. This year's dinner will be held on Thursday, April 24th.

Archbishop Mark Coleridge, Archbishop of Brisbane, will share his vocational discernment journey to provide insight and wisdom into your own discernment and your current questions.

Informing young, faith-filled women discovering God’s call.

Are you seeking to live life to the fullest?  Do you dream of discovering your spiritual gifts and God’s calling?  Dinner and discernment offers a regular space for women's discipleship to listen, learn and grow together.  Attendees will be provided free access to an online women's discernment program.

 

Sr. Theresa from Vocation Brisbane will host the event on the last Wednesday of each month.

 

Come along and share your journey and fruit of discernment as we learn from each other and gain clarity from our experiences.

Quo Vadis for Women 2024

Where is God calling you?

The Quo Vadis for Women weekend retreat provides the opportunity to experience study, prayer, and discernment while staying at the beautiful Nazareth House at Wynnum by Moreton Bay.

Learn about Religious Life in an environment that will equip and inspire a better understanding of your calling.  

Come away and intentionally ask what God is calling you to do with your life. Experience dynamic talks, engaging small group discussions and transformative prayer experiences through Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, personal prayer, and a guided retreat.  This is your chance to spend quality time with like-minded individuals on the same journey of discernment, all while enjoying hospitality, conversation, and sisterhood.

Feel empowered to actively decide to follow Jesus during the Quo Vadis Weekend, which runs from 5 p.m. Friday, November 15th to 2 p.m. Sunday, November 17th.

Cost $100 (complete 3-day experience) OR $30 day ticket. (Places are very limited) 

Single women and those Open to Religious Life aged 18-35 are welcome. A single-day experience is also available.  Interested delegates from other Provincial Dioceses are also welcome to attend.

Join us for Discere 24

Discere is an opportunity for young single Catholic men and women (18–35 years) to intentionally pause and ask the question "where is God calling me?" in a peaceful, supportive and safe environment.

 There will be time for prayer, reflection and group sharing, as well as opportunities to hear from priests, religious and married spouses about their discernment journeys. 

The team from Vocation Brisbane will also provide information about the different Catholic vocations (Ordained, Religious/Consecrated, Single & Married Life), plus help shed light on what 'discernment' actually means and give practical tips about how to discern in your every day life.
